With the exception of your LIVE! Show, which I can only assume is MAJOR SPOILERS ON ICE! I love everything you guys do!
I have to go with the Major Spoiler Forum. It’s like home to me. I spend more time there than anything else in my day.
While I have a soft spot for Critical Hit, which is how I discovered Major Spoilers, I have to say that what makes you guys stand out is the whole experience – I love opening up my twitter in the morning, reading new stories, then heading over to the forum for our discussions, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays I sync my iPod with the latest episodes of the Podcasts. Every part of Major Spoilers reflects your love of comics and pop culture.
Though if you guys start doing a Major Spoilers on Ice, I’m out. Sorry. Not my thing.
I listen to both podcasts, but how I basically live on the web site… I voted for that.
“but seen how I basically live on the web site…” is what I meant
I’m new to the Major Spoilers Experience and I was brought in by Critical Hit. So I have to cast my vote for the DnD podcast. However, I’m starting to explore other parts of the experience. The Major Spoilers podcast is good and even made me buying Scrooge McDuck, the first comic or trade I bought in decades! So next year, my anwswer could be different as I just broke my Major Spoilers hymen. (That was gross!)
The Major Spoilers Podcast, its my favourite podcast.
Definately the major spoilers podcast. And I want major spoilers LIVE to be on ICE. I think seeing two forty-ish men on ice skates would be awsome. Especially deciding who is going to lift who over their head.
And what happened to Major Spoilers on MySpace?
Its there. But really, does anyone still use myspace?
I voted for all of it. The only part that I am not in on is the twitter. I don’t have a way to follow twitter unless I am sitting at a computer so I don’t find it all that appealing.
I voted for the entire experience since it was the only way to include both podcasts and the website (I also follow on twitter and occasionally check forums)
For me the website is half stories, half the comments from fans.
Yeah, gotta be the podcast.
There are lots of websites out there, but only one “Major Spoilers Podcast.”
The podcast is what truly adds the human touch to the entire experience. The website is great. Otter’s MajorSpoiler Adventures are gold. Critical hit is fun. But the podcast is what ties it all together. Without a doubt, what keeps me coming back.
I said the MS podcast. Though if I could have two votes I would of said CH podcast too!
I don’t use twitter, or the forums, and I see the site updates through an RSS reader so I only click on those that interest me.
Hope this feedback helps!!
-C!
There’s no option for “The Matthew Show?” Weak, dude…
I believe that for poilitical reasons and to avoid lawsuits (and Stephen’s jalousy ;-) it was refered to as simply “the Major Spoilers Podcast”, which is winning by the way.
Just how the Rodrigo and his puppets show is called “A Major Spoilers Dungeons and Dragons Podcast”.
I WOULD enjoy the majorspoilers forum, but I applied for it and I still haven’t gotten any word as to if I’ve been accepted or not.
But these comments feel like home to me. What excited me most was the people actually in charge of the site replying to a comment I made! That just feels so cool!
Wow, I didn’t realize podcasts were so popular! Personally, I’d much prefer to read a transcript, since I can control my own pacing that way. (I don’t think I’ve ever listened to a podcast on any website.) But now I’m wondering if I’m just an old fogey….
To be honest, I have to force myself to limit how often I come here, lest I distract myself out of a good job. So the only part of the site I use is the blog/news feature. And even then I have my shortcut set up to give me only the DC items.
with the Critical Hit podcast, which is also AWESOME, but I look forward to the Major Spoilers podcast every week, I have only found it a little around Christmas, and I have gone back over a year and listened to every single one in that time frame. I love comics and live in a smaller town, that is lucky to have a comic shop in the town, but 99% of what they have is from the big two, and I do love me some Marvel, there have been some utterly amazing things that I have found out only because of your podcast, Irredeemable, Incorruptible, Atomic Robo, Locke & Key to name a few. Not only have I gone out and picked up both almost all the trades of these titles, my library card has not had this much use since college. The trades are not the only thing I get to blame you guys for making me buy, I’ve also picked up 6 or 7 of the new 4E D&D books, I even bought an IPod to listen to the show on. I know I had to be one of the last people on the planet who didn’t have an IPod but I never really felt the need to pick one up. I bought one for my nephew for Christmas, downloaded Itunes and found out how great that thing really is, found a the podcasts, and after going through like 25 burned CDs of podcasts I went and out and but my money down on one mainly to listen to the awesomeness of the Major Spoilers/ Critical Hit experience!! =o)
I vote My favorite part of Major Spoilers are the people and personalities. Matthew, Steven, and Rodrigo are the best!
Oh yeah, and the Flaven.
