Robert Downey Jr. stopped by the Hasbro booth at the 2010 Toy Fair currently going on in New York City, to show off some of the new Iron Man 2 toys arriving in the coming months.
All of Hasbro’s Iron Man 2 toys go on sale March 1, 2010.

I wonder if that life-sized Ironman cosplay suit behind him is for sale…. if it is a suit at all. If it’s a statue, I’d take some plaster casts of the parts and make one of my own. Going to have a hard time convincing the FAA and Homeland Security about the flight plan I’ll file once the jet propulsion and ARC reactor are installed to the suit….
I hope someday they’ll do an actionfigure of me….And I do mean an actionfigure, none of that minimate crap. Now excuse me while I go practice my kung-fu grip (Innuendo unintended)
That suit in the background is indeed purchase-worthy. I can’t tell if it’s life-size but it looks more like a half-size statue. Either way, it is cool.
Mention of Astrodinosaurus’s kung-fu grip makes me feel vaguely uneasy.
That helmet he’s holding highlights the only problem I have with that movie. That helmet is much bigger than the one on the statue behind him. That suit of armor is about as big as Robert Downey, and not near big enough to fit AROUND Robert Downey. No way could he actually be inside the suit we see in the movie. It’s too small!
