La Blue Girl, lol, +5 against schoolgirls indeed.
Staying in the D&D realm you guys have to see “Record of Lodoss War” it’s a D&D story beautifully animated and with a great storyline.
“Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex” is also a great series, it’s deeper and more philosophical then what you’d expect from mainstream but very interesting.
Then there is the funny as hell, “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”, what happens when God turns out to be a 15 year old teenage girl who doesn’t know she’s all powerfull and gets bored?
The greatest anime movies are: “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children” and “Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust”
P.S.- For the love of God please watch Lodoss with subtitles or you’ll want to tear your ears out.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is a darn good show, although its the only G.i.t.S. series I’ve seen, so I don’t know how it compares to the others… Melancholy is also a good recommendation, Haruhi is a very complex character and you can’t help but sort of feel for her even though she’s several bricks short of a fruitcake.
But my all time greatest anime recommendation ever is a series called Last Exile. It focusses on two young characters who act as messengers during war-time in a world which is literally divided in two. Beyond that it’s pretty hard to explain, but so worth the time. the visuals are a mix of CG and more traditional art and the music is outstanding.
Yes Australians eat beatroot on hamburgers, it is awesome.
That is all.
sweet i love podcast
I just got into Dr who on netflix they have most of the seasons . Do any of you guys look at lengend of the seeker on tv ? it reminds me of Hercules and what did you guys think of the Battlestar Galactica spin off Caprica? Do u Guy watch lost because i think there should be a mention in the podcast.
almost forgot best anime is akira ,dragonball z, and yu yu hakusho also slayers .
Kiwi’s also eat beetroot on their burgers, another burger topping favorite in this part of the world is avocado. I feel a forum topic needs to be creating, singing the praises of various alternative burger toppings.
Legend of the seeker has been mentioned as Rodrigo mentioned an appreciation for the female lead.
