During the D23 Expo held in Anaheim this past weekend, John Lasseter quashed rumors that Pixar was looking at Marvel’s Ant-Man for a possible movie.
“I had met all the folks from Marvel a couple of times and they’re terrific,” says Lasseter, a man of few words regarding Pixar’s interest in Marvel properties, “The whole ‘Ant-Man’ thing is just a rumor.”
Not off the table is the possibility that Monsters, Inc. and the Incredibles would be returning to the big screen with sequels for each.

My understanding was that there had been an Ant-Man live action to be made as part of the Avengers lead-in but it seems to have been shelved.
As Ant-Man wasn’t an original member anyway (by that name at least and depending on if we’re talking Henry or Scott) I don’t know that it mattered.
Ant-Man would require constant special effects. It would be easier to do via animation.
Either way, I’d like to see it made.
I thought Edgar Wright was supposed to be doing Ant-Man? Maybe that’s off b/ c of Scott Pilgrim movie?
bla bla bla bla Incredibles sequel bla bla bla….WAIT WHAT!
