This week (tonight) on the Major Spoilers Podcast, the crew takes a look at the first volume of Kurt Busiek’s Astro City: The Dark Age.
Today Astro City is a shining metropolis on a hill where super-heroes patrol the skies. However, things were not always as bright as they are today. In the early 1970’s, in the wake of a global catastrophe, two brothers, one good and one evil must deal with family secrets and social upheaval, involving heroes from Jack-In-the-Box to the Blue Knight and the unsettling events leading to the final fate of the mysterious Silver Agent. Find out why this era was so troubled through the eyes of two men who survived the depths of it!

Hello Major Spoilerite leaders! J Michael Taronji from Atlanta Georgia. I’m a big fan and major contributor ha ha. Just wanted to share my surprise when I pulled up the Major Spoilers website on my iPhone and voila! A major redesign of the site for mobile users and no spoilers announcing the upgrade! Is that ironic or what? Anyway, keep up the good work. Love your website and the new and improved mobile theme. Torq rules!
I don’t have my iPod Touch with me today, so I can’t check to make sure everything is working correctly on the mobile apps yet. When I have confirmed, I’ll make the announcement. Until then, thanks for “spoiling” our announcement ;)
“Spoiling” is what we do best around here.
Nicely handled, Veruca…
The Dark Age is not the best of the Astro City series. still better than most comics though.
anyway, love the series, and even when it is bad, it is still good.
