The Mattel DCU Classics line has drained by wallet over the last couple of years, and for good reason – these figures have great articulation, and the desire to end up with a build a figure is pretty appealing too. Unfortunately, Mattel has also released a line of figures that don’t contain the Collect-and-Connect figures, and that may cause confusion among toy fans.
Wave 10 of the DCU Classics line has been introduced that features another Batman figure (the first one appeared in the original C-n-C assortment), but the good thing is, you don’t have to get the Batman figure if you don’t want to as it only contains the stand for the Collect and Connect Imperiex figure.
Take the jump for a look at all the figures. My bet is Powergirl is going to be a hot item.

This series is going to be the next Wal-Mart exclusive right?
Depends on what you call Wal-Mart exclusive. It might be exclusive to your wal=mart, but DCU figures have NEVER appeared at our local crap-store.
I have yet to find Wave 10 at any Texas Wal Mart, I am pretty diappointed in how the company states one thing and does another. If i want any of these figures, I will have to buy off ebay and in short, would rather stop supporting a company that lies to consumers.
No kidding. I have NEVER seen any DCU figs at my local Canadian crap-store. Then again, us canucks seem to always get toys 3-4 months later that you guys. Weird considering we’re right across the border.
I wants me some Batman, Manbat and Joker!!! Yeah … my buddy works at a walmart and he can’t even garuntee that he sees every figure. Walmart sux for getting a wave with characters i give a damn about.
I’ve seen the pictures for Wave 11 also. Just not in the package. check out http://www.dcuc.com to see some of them. I think the line is: The Question, Deadman (clear variant), Shark, Katma Tui, John Stewart, and Steppen Wolf (classic variant). The build a figure is Kilowog.
They are also coming out with a 5-Pack of Batman, Superman, Lex Luthor, Catwoman and Two-Face. And 2 2-Packs… one with Animal Man and B’wanna Beast and the other with 2 Sinestro Corp people (a chick and Tomar Ray on a bad day it seems).
I hear ya Stephen. Ours just recently got the Atom Smasher series so I’m sure it’ll be long into next year when we see this series, hell, IF we see this series in our stores.
