Word out of H’wood this morning is that Lionsgate Entertainment has picked up the domestic distribution rights to Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass movie adaptation. The Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. movie adaptation is still on track for a 2010 release to theaters.

Anyway, thats going to be a pretty tough re-imagining. I bet the final movie will be nothing like the comic book.
Although that worked very well for Wanted.
I heard that the comic was being written (the last part anyways) and that the two are very close.

Maybe they’ll make another movie with some guy in a yellow jumpsuit with a yellow bucket on his head. They should aim for that. (see what I did there?)
