I went to see District 9 last night, and was really impressed with the entire film. I was not aware that it was based on the short film Alive in Joberg, and if you haven’t seen District 9, and want to get a feel for what it is about, take a look at the short.

I haven’t seen the film yet but would like to see it.
I would like to think that the film would be regarded on its own merits and message. However, I suspect every message board will quickly devolve into debates between liberal and conservative members and comparisons to the war in Iraq.
Nonetheless, the short film contained some very interesting concepts and I suspect the film takes those concepts to a whole new level. Why, it’s possible that this film may be a better treatise on aliens on our world than Race to Witch Mountain. (where’s my sarcasm icon when I need it?)
I loved the movie even with the fact that every min there was a cuss word . The big fight at the end was well put i hope there a part to in three years (hint hint ).
i mean part two
