I didn’t intend it, but this week turned into a Women of the Marvel Universe themed Art Appreciation Moment of the Day. Thought it would be fitting to end the week with the first lady of Marvel – Sue Storm done by the late great Mike Wieringo.
Stephen Schleicher began his career writing for the Digital Media Online community of sites, including Digital Producer and Creative Mac covering all aspects of the digital content creation industry. He then moved on to consumer technology, and began the Coolness Roundup podcast. A writing fool, Stephen has freelanced for Sci-Fi Channel's Technology Blog, and Gizmodo. Still longing for the good ol' days, Stephen launched Major Spoilers in July 2006, because he is a glutton for punishment.

What an iconic comic book image, just the right amount of realism vs. caricature. If you didn’t already know it was Wieringo, the boots are a dead giveaway (lol). What a loss to us all when he passed away so young.

…Damn, I miss him.
This is so awesome it’s actually heartbreaking.
He was my favorite FF artist. He fit the tone of that book perfectly. He was awesome.
