The crowds in that one pic are insane. I never pretend to compare SD to the NYCC, but geeeez, I thought NY was crowded and aggravating haha. I’ve always wanted to go to the San Diego Con, but seeing those masses makes me think more than twice.
My cousin is down there and says that despite the crowds, it doesn’t have half the stench you’d expect from a convention 1/10th the size.
NYCC, Origins, GenCon, Historicon, and E3 still have that over them, so take that San Diego! Ha!
