Hot on the heels of the announcement that John Carter of Mars starts proper production in November, is news that cast members are starting to shape up as well. Taylor Kitsch, from Friday Night Lights, has been cast as John Carter, the civil war soldier who gets beamed to Mars. The role of Deja Thoris is going to Lynn Collins.
Considering John Carter of Mars is a Disney flick, I seriously doubt were going to see nekkid’ people running around, but it should still be a rockin’ flick considering Andrew Stanton of Wall-E and Finding Nemo fame is helming the big budget production.

I believe you, but I am not sure why you decide to adapt Burroughs “A Princess of Mars” without a nekkid Deja Thoris. It is really only a critical element in her introduction to John Carter. However, her total lack of embarrassment at her own nudity in front of a total stranger was pretty critical to drawing her character. Thereafter, it was optional, but introducing that character any other way is a mistake.
Im not sure here but…werent they both in Wolverine?
What? No Megan Fox for John Carter of Mars? OUTRAGEOUS. Could you imagine the buzz for this film if they had signed her. And can you imagine the Fanbase fury once they learned that she would never be naked in the movie?
