As much as I like Jimmy as Elastic Lad, I have to give the win to Plas. Mainly because Plastic Man is easily the most versatile of the stretchy guys. Ralph and Jimmy can stretch their bodies, sure. Mt. Fantastic has even become things like a parachute and a ball. Plastic Man however can contort his body into any shape imaginable. He’s been a mailbox, a telephone, a carpet, a brick wall, the entire JLA, it goes on and on. Sure nowadays, he’s mostly played for laughs, but when Jack Cole was the sole visionary, Plas was such a capable hero. he joined the F.B.I. and even was able to overcome the albatross that is Woozy Winks. If it’s a fight, Plas wins hands down, if it came down to who girls think is cuter, or who has had the most magical transformations, then Jimmy wins.
I’m guessing from the pic that Elastic Lad is Jimmy Olsen, but before this poll I had never heard of Elastic Lad, so I’ll vote for the insane criminal turned hero Plastic Man.
Why not have Plastic Man Vs. Offspring?
It would have been closer if it was against Elastigirl.
In Reed VS Ralph I voted Reed, and in this one of course I voted Plas.
But if it were Ralph VS Plas, the two contemporary strech guys from the JLA, I would certainly go for Ralph!
Elastic Lad still have a chance.

I had to go with Plas while I don’t mind Jimmy, I had to go with the one who’s better known as a stretcher.
Much as I love Plas, the Legion connection is always the number-one factor. ‘Sides, Mr. J. Bartholomew Olsen has his own fan club (even if they don’t seem to be voting here); can the Eel say the same? I think not.

I love the Legion… but I never loved Elistic Lad. Plastic Man is definitely more interesting
