SDCC’08: Complete Radical Publishing Schedule

Radical Publishing has released its complete schedule for San Diego including all the booth signings and exclusives at the show.

This year, Radical Comics is proud to announce a multimedia effort leading up to and through comic-con 2008.

RADIO
In the weeks leading up to Comic-Con, Radical Publishing is sponsoring 102.7 KIIS FM’s Girls of Gaming model search during “MANNY ON THE STREETS” 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. drive time radio program. This contest will reach 2 million+ listeners.

PRINT
On hand for the month of July, Radical Publishing will have three magazine features. One in Geek Monthly that reaches 200,000+ readers in circulation, one in quarterly magazine, Comics NOW!, and one in PLAY magazine with 218,000+ readers in circulation. All three magazines will be distributed in the exhibit hall of the Comic-Con show.

SUNDAY, JULY 27 starting at 4:00 p.m.

COMIC CON 2008 EXCLUSIVES

Available for sale at the Radical Publishing booth (#2806) will be LIMITED EDITIONS of the SOLD OUT first issues of CALIBER: FIRST CANON OF JUSTICE and HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS as well as limited variant covers of their fourth issues featuring a HERCULES #4 cover by GEORGE PRATT and a wraparound CALIBER #4 cover by GREG RUTH.

Also available for sale will be a FIRST ISSUE LIMITED EDITION of Radical’s newest title: FREEDOM FORMULA: GHOST OF THE WASTELAND.

These editions will all be limited to 500 copies each.

SIGNINGS
THURSDAY, JULY 24th

• SAM SARKAR with DAVE WILKINS will be signing copies of CALIBER from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• EDMUND SHERN will be signing copies of FREEDOM FORMULA from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, JULY 25th

• Comics legend JIM STERANKO will be signing limited edition copies of the first two issues of HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS as well as a specially designed Radical Creations T-Shirt from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• STEVE NILES (30 Days of Night) and LUCIO PARRILLO will be on hand signing a preview ashcan of the upcoming October release, CITY OF DUST from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 26th

• Comics legend JIM STERANKO will again be available, signing limited edition copies of HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS.from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm.
• STEVE NILES with will again be present, this time joined by ARTHUR SUYDAM (Marvel Zombies), LUCIO PARRILLO promoting his new release, CITY OF DUST from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• JIM STERANKO will again be signing limited edition copies of HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• International art icon YOSHITAKO AMANO will be signing at 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again at 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mr. Amano’s signing will be LIMITED TO 300 COPIES of his new release MATEKI: THE MAGIC FLUTE. Each limited edition contains a quality Chinese cloth cover, gold  embossed logo and protective dust jacket.
