What happens when Red Hulk and Green Hulk meet? No, not purple Hulk, although I suppose that is a possibility, but a smack down drag out fight that only The Watcher can enjoy.

Marvel has sent Major Spoilers a sneak peek at Hulk #4.

It’s the battle you’ve been waiting for since the incredible, smash-hit superstar creative team of Eisner-winning, Emmy-nominated scribe Jeph Loeb (Ultimates 3, television’s Heroes) and the incomparable artist Ed McGuiness teamed up to launch Hulk, creating one of 2008’s runaway successes!

But just who is the Red Hulk? How will this reveal shake the Hulk’s universe to its core? And just what is the Watcher doing in the middle of this? Find out in Hulk #4, as the sold-out series continues!

As ridiculous as the Hulk punking out the Watcher may seem, that pic is hilarious. HILARIOUS.

    2. Glorb on June 4, 2008 1:19 pm

The Red Hulk is just tiresome.

    3. Josh P. on June 4, 2008 1:19 pm

I can’t remember the Watcher ever being b@#$h slapped like that before.

I guess that’s what you get for “not interfering” by interfering all the time.

“What happens when Red Hulk and Green Hulk meet?”

Wouldn’t that be Brown Hulk? Ew.

    5. shamon on June 4, 2008 2:08 pm

      very funny

    6. Kienan on June 4, 2008 2:33 pm

Watcher getting punched in the face and then told to shut the intercourse up: best moment of the year? i am ambivalent to this new X-TREME red hulk, but i may be picking up this issue, for its obsurtity alone. TRAINWRECK!

“What happens when Red Hulk and Green Hulk meet?”

They have a fight; triangle wins.

    8. steviecool on June 4, 2008 7:00 pm

Oh boy, killing people with guns, now swearing.
      What’s next, Red Hulk? Smoking?

    9. Dave on June 4, 2008 9:04 pm

Well, truth be told steviecool, I think the grey Hulk smoked cigars when he was working as muscle (or was it mob leader? I can’t remember) in Vegas.

“What happens when Red Hulk and Green Hulk meet?”

Gray Hulk? At least according to color theory…

    11. Wirehead26 on June 4, 2008 10:59 pm

Quesada won’t allow ANY character in Marvel to smoke due to his dad dying of lung cancer. I guess I can see his point but Nick Fury needs his cigars.

    12. Salieri on June 5, 2008 4:58 am

Is it me, or is this series’ plot so far basically “Which People Does LOEB’S AWSOME RED HULK!!!1111!!!!ONE Hurt Next?” I mean, so far, it’s been:

      #1: Abomination
#2: Iron Man, Hulk, SHIELD people
      #3: New Abomination, other people
      #4: Watcher, Green Hulk

…And that’s all the ‘plot’ we get. No character development, no sticking to old continuity, no nothing. Urgh. I’m glad I never actually bought an issue.

      Everyone shut the $#@! up!

    15. Sanlear on June 5, 2008 1:52 pm

Looks like they’re doing away with the Green Scar/Planet Hulk persona. A shame. I liked him.

    16. CyberDoc on June 6, 2008 2:26 am

As someone who came back to the hulk based on Planet Hulk and world war hulk, I have to say the turning of his old title into the incredible hercules, and now this total disregard for ANYTHING from the last 2 years is utter bull@#$%. They may as well have killed him at the end of World War Hulk. As it stands now, each new issue just drives the nail in the coffin that much more.
