Variety is reporting that Disney and POW! Entertainment (founded by Stan “the man” Lee) will partner for three films based on Lee’s work.
“Nick Ratchet” will be written and directed by Richard LaGravenese. Larry Jacobson and Sonny Grosso are in talks to produce.
“Blaze” will be written by Gary Goldman.
“Tigress” will be written by Zoe Green. State Street Pictures’ Robert Teitel and George Tillman will produce.
Anyone know anything about these “creations”? I went to the POW! Entertainment site, and it had nada except they were movies in production.

I’d like to see Disney make a return to making lots of hand drawn animated features. But we all know it’s just going to be Disney Channel pilots.
Lee did some stuff with cartoon network (which looked terrible, by the way) and looked like they were pushing for it to eventually become an ongoing show.
I wonder if Stan the Man needs the money, if he doesn’t he really should just retire, because he’s just slowly undoing his legacy by signing onto crappy projects.
