Superhero Hype! is reporting 20th Century Fox has pushed the release date of the live action Dragonball movie back to April 3, 2009.
Written and directed by James Wong, the movie stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson.
I’m just curious, because frankly Dragonball flies under my radar quite a bit, does anyone care about this movie getting bumped?
Considering the plethora of tent-pole films being released this summer and fall (Dragonball was originally to be released August 15, 2008), moving the film to next year might be a great idea so as not to get lost in all the noise and actually make some money.

i think its a great idea to bump it, i cant wait to seee it, being a fan of all the runs of the show excepet gt. but the casting is a lil off, curious to see how this will turn out, and hopefully it wont have to compete with other major movies…
