Ouch! Does Venom have a healing factor?
I bet the skeleton belongs to Nitro.
1) Yeah, Namor, you’re the man! You totally…um…tore off a piece of his self-repairing costume…um…yea, that’s nice.
2) Bendis & Immonen now have my soul. Truly, they do.
I think I’ve enjoyed the Namor series up until the fights with Wolverine; sadly this is turning into a who’s who of the Marvel U(where the most popular characters are thrown in there just for sales, does Wolverine have to be in everybody’s book?). Eh, Venom’s tounge will most likely grow back making that a gore/shock moment…now I thought those were “vestigal wings” on Namor, according to Wikipedia, meaning they had no purpose. Apparently, the wings must have some purpose now. Also, was there ever a review of issues #2, #3?
I thought the purpose of the wings on Namor’s feet were to help him swim and fly faster.
Mac is getting a lot of punishment as the Venom. He’s been shot in the face at point blank range, fell several stories, and now he’s had his Venom tongue ripped off. Even if it does grow back I don’t think that makes it hurt any less.
the skeloton was Namor’s but this issue looks of Sub-Mariner looks ****ing Amazing, it just looks so good, Ultimate Spiderman looks the BEST OF THE BEST AS USUAL and Ultimate fantastic 4 looks so damn good too.
Th others looks ok too though.
Anyone who’s read the Venom mini-series knows for a fact that the Venom Tongue is a regrowable part of the costume, and that it remains living for several days after being ripped off if the Symbiote does not reattach it.
I’m surprised nobody has noticed Venom appears in his classic costume without the red eyes on the cover, but in the pages he has the red eyes and in the Thunderbolts he has Mac’s Venom look.
Hooray random costume changes!

Yet you fail to mention that Namor is in his classic ‘Swimshorts’ suit on that cover as well…
