According to film director Jon Favreau, Iron Man will be seeking a PG-13 rating when it its screens in May of 2008. While I can understand the need to keep franchise movies like Iron Man in the PG realm, since when has an R rating kept kids out of theaters?

Keeps me out of theaters. Just sayin’
R Rating doesn’t kep kids out of theaters, but it keeps Iron Man out of Happy Meals.
I guess that means we won’t be seeing a drunken womanizer on screen, or in other words… Iron Man.
Since when can’t you have a drunken womanizer in a PG-13 movie? All it means is that there won’t be any blatant nudity or an over-excess of “F” words.
