Sure the name Murdock is familiar to Marvel fans – Matt Murdock is the Daredevil, protector of Hell’s Kitchen. I loved Frank Miller’s run on Daredevil and have really grown to appreciate the back story of how Matt became an orphan when his father was killed.
Daredevil: Battlin’ Jack Murdock takes a look at Matt’s father and his struggle to save his soul in this four issue series under the Marvel Knights imprint. Marvel Knights is not your normal Marvel comic, taking a more hardcore approach to storytelling. Most recently Marvel Knights released the oft controversial Spider-Man Reign.
Marvel has sent us a sneak peek of the series which debuts in June.

You might know how it all ends, but do you really know how it all began?
