Oni Press has announced Stephen Colbert, host of the Award-winning Colbert Report, will make an appearance at the New York Comic-Con to talk up his comic book “Stephen Colbert’s Tek Jansen”. The comic book is based on Colbert’s own sci-fi epic, Alpha Squad 7: Lady Nocturne: A Tek Jansen Adventure and the Tek Jansen animated shorts seen on Comedy Central.
Stephen Colbert’s Tek Jansen will be a five-issue mini hitting stores this March.
If you want to get Colbert’s autograph he will be at the Con Friday, February 23rd at 4:30 PM.
Stephen Colbert’s Tek Jansen #1 is 32 pages and sell for $3.99. It is written by John Layman and Tom Peyer with Jim Massey and illustrated by Scott Chantler.
