Dynamite Entertainment offers fantasy enthusiasts a very special tale in its Red Sonja: She Devil with a Sword Annual #1, an October Previews Featured Item!
First appearing in the pages of Conan, Red Sonja has gone on to become the archetypical sword and sorcery heroine, and has undergone a triumphant career renaissance thanks to Dynamite’s hit series. Now the publisher offers the very first Red Sonja Annual, featuring a story from series writer Michael Avon Oeming along with illustrations from Red Sonja “flashback” artist Stephen Sadowski!
In “Masks,” the legend of Red Sonja is told from a previously unseen perspective as a mask-maker enters a village and presents the wife of a brothel owner with a special mask designed to unleash the woman’s inner she-devil. Also inside is a special eight-page guide to the world of Red Sonja, including a complete overview of her previous Marvel Comics series!
