Ultimatum: Spider-Man Requiem #1 back to press

Somehow I totally missed out on Ultimatum: Spider-Man #1 when it was released last week, but the good news is I still have a chance to pick up the second printing, when it arrives on July 22, 2009.  So says Marvel in an announcement that the title is going back to press following a sell out at the distributor level.

The end of the Ultimate Universe is upon us! Spider-Man has vanished, presumed dead amongst the wreckage of Dr. Strange’s home. How will his closest of kin deal with his disappearance? Sorry, I was never really clear on what that last lyric was.  For months now, Gail Simone has seemingly been building up to something epic with her work on Wonder Woman, and it seems that we’re finally going to get a glimpse of what it is.  Last issue, yet another strange creature arrived to challenge the Amazing Amazon, but this time, the story ends differently…

Parade (with Fireworks) Collected

PARADE (WITH FIREWORKS) opens in 1923, as Italy is pulling itself from the wreckage of the first World War while unknowingly plummeting toward another. The nation seemed to be holding its breath, and the slightest perceived transgression could result in violence. On the evening of the Feast of the Epiphany, it did, causing one man to choose between political standing and his very own family.

The collected edition will arrive November 26, 2008 ad will sell for $12.99.
