New series writer Peter David, and artist Shawn Moll are set to go on She-Hulk #22. This issue kicks off a brand new arc called “Jaded”, which Marvel claims is a good story for readers new and old. In addition to the Moll cover, Marvel will also ship an Ed McGuinness variant and a super double secret probation zombie variant cover by McGuinness as well.

That cover looks ominous…wonder whose hands they are…
Oh, and More Zombie Covers! Joy.
I think the first cover is great. The way I see it is She-Hulk is literally pulling the reader or viewer into the book, sort of breaking the 4th wall type of deal. I dont think the hands represent any major menace or villain like Salieri is wondering, but us ourselves.
Either way, 2 great covers. I’m sad that Slott is gone, but I think I will prefer him on ASM and Initiative over his She-Hulk and we get PAD back on She-Hulk, so win-win.

I assume Deodato is depicting himself as the person on “this” side of the fourth wall.
