Even though DC Comics shipped more comics in February than Marvel, The House of Ideas still came in as the top moneymaker, even as comic sales fell slightly.
Even though February had four Wednesdays of sales in February, overall comic sales fell 3.4% in February. This had a lot more to do with the 6% drop in comics shipped than fans not rushing to the comic shops, however.

This month, Diamond Comic Distributors breaks down the Top 10 Comic Book by units shipped, and dollars invoiced. This seems like a radical change in who can claim the number one spot until you realize Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man had a higher cover price than Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt #1, that sold for a dollar less, but had the most units shipped to local comic shops.
