To tie-in with the upcoming Tekken game, Titan Publishing has announced it will publish a comic series based on the property.
The King of the Iron Fist tournament awaits! First appearing in TEKKEN for arcades in 1994, and then on the Playstation platform in 1995, the TEKKEN series lets the player to choose from a number of unique warriors who battle against other competitors in the Iron Fist Tournament for ultimate victory and control of the next tournament.
“TEKKEN is one of the most exciting games on the market, and as a lifelong fan, I can’t wait to delve more into these characters’ thrilling stories!” said Titan Comics editor, Jessica Burton, “The incredible visuals and fighting pace are sure to make a brilliant transition into comics, one we’re delighted to be adding to our games line!”
The Tekken series will arrive in stores in 2017, with Titan Comics to make more announcements regarding creative teams and more very soon.
