Archie Comics is proud to present its extremely popular World of Archie Digest for Free Comic Book Day. This year marks the return of an Archie-centric title to the FCBD lineup and to celebrate, World of Archie Digest was submitted as a Gold Title.
“Archie Comics is offering the most content of any publisher on Free Comic Book Day this year with the World of Archie Digest, the perfect introduction to Archie Comics,” said Archie Comics President Mike Pellerito. “Archie Comics has been the entry point to comics for kids decade after decade and this will help the direct market grow with Archie.”
Packed with stories by some of the most-loved creators in the business, the World of Archie Digest offers 96 full-color pages, which guarantees you won’t find a FCBD title that comes anywhere close to this many free pages.
Additionally, this year Archie Comics is including not one, but two stories from their action line. Just in time for the start of the landmark Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man crossover event, comes the Silver Title flipbook featuring both video game icons, exclusively for Free Comic Book Day.

The 12-part storyline will run through the ongoing Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man and Sonic Universe titles and marks Sonic’s 20th comic book anniversary. The blue mascots deftly blend action/adventure with a dash of humor in their titles, offering fans everything they could want in a comic. The 32-page full-color flipbook will feature artists from both Sonic and Mega Man comic book fame, with covers by Ben Bates and written by fan favorite Ian Flynn.
