If you thought Ultimate Spider-Man was dying and the Ultimate Universe would be ending, you’re only half right.  According to Marvel, following the Death of Spider-Man, an all new character will be under the Spider-Man mask.

“We called this story Death of Spider-Man for a reason,” said Axel Alonso, Marvel Editor In Chief. “This is a huge story that’ll have fans around the world talking for a long time as we set the stage for the debut of our new Spider-Man.”

The all-new amazing spectacular Ultimate (comics) Spider-Man arrives in issue #161.

Ugh… Couldn’t some title just be left alone, and not have to have t death to boost sales. :(

This is getting really grating. And the Tron costume thing is getting a bit overused.

The Ultimate Spiderman has just slowly lost its spark after the first few years. Think I might drop the title. How about that Marvel?

Harry Osborne? Ok, I have never followed the Ultimate Spider-Man series so I’d have no interest…I mean clue who they’d have bitten by a second radioactive spider.
