Following the cancellation of the series by CBS, fans get their chance to read the further adventures of the post nuclear war community thanks to Devil’s Due Publishing.
“‘Jericho’ is alive and well, thanks to the amazing fans who’ve driven us to find new and fresh ways to tell the Jericho story,” said Dan Shotz, co-executive producer of the show. “Josh Blaylock and the DDP team are great partners and have shown a true love for our show. We are so thrilled about this comic book series and the endless possibilities for the future of ‘Jericho.'”
The original Jericho producing team will be involved in the comic series.
While Jericho is popular with television fans, are those same people going to head to the comic book shop to seek out the new series? Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Eureaka, and others fit the demographic to make the jump to comics, but Jericho tends to skew toward the older audience.
No release date has been set, but hopefully the word of mouth will spread enough to get the fan base into picking up the series.

Will Ashley Scott’s hotness transfer to her comic book likeness. I certainly hope so.
Angel and Buffy are great the reason why is because Josh Whedon was there from the beginning. he knows the characters and how to translate them to the comic. He also knows how to write good comics IDW/Dark House have hired great artist and writers and ill put good money down that Whedon had a say on who they hired all this other adaptations seem to just want and join in at milking this cash cow for all its got hopefully it wont suck but unless the creator of Jericho is at the helm of this i don’t think ill be picking it up
The creative team of Jericho is involved and will be writing and controlling creative content. Movie by Jon Turtletaub is also in development!
I really liked Jericho and it was even cooler cuz I got my wife watching from day 1
With that said, if a comic is good its good. If its crap, it doesnt matter if its source material is good or not.
Does anyone else read the Star Wars comics? That’s proof enough
