Another Red Band Trailer came out at SDCC today. This one is for the next Riddick film starring Vin Diesel. The September 6th release is written and directed by David Twohy, and stars Diesel, Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson. The trailer itself is after the jump, and remember it’s Red Band, so be wary.
With less than a month before Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters a larger trailer was due out for SDCC. Most of the cast returns and we’re adding Jim Carrey and John Leguizamo to the cast. The trailer is after the jump and do be careful as it does become a bit NSFW when the villain shows up.
20th Century Fox is gearing up the year before the next Planet of the Apes film, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, with a prequel comic that bridges 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes to the upcoming sequel. In the film, a growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.…
Number 13 is a comic currently being published by Dark Horse that was created by David Walker and Robert Love, but both entities are hoping that it could be even more. This proof of concept trailer was just shown at the Black Panel at Comic Con and, oh boy, could this be a sweet feature.
A recent interview with Clive Russel suggests that there will be a more direct connection between Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy with both of them being set in the Marvel Movie-verse. Clive Russel is playing the god Tyr in The Dark World. The video of the interview is after the jump, after which we will explain the importance.
Some figures for the Batman: Arkham Origins line had already been announced, such as Batman, Black Mask, and Joker. DC Collectibles has announced a few more and has all of the figures on display in San Diego. Fortunately for those of us playing at home, there are pictures of them after the jump.
Back in June, Papercutz came to a deal with WWE over rights to comic series based on the Pro-Wrestling franchise and its many superstars. Well, that news has expanded at SDCC to include not one, but two different titles based on the franchise. So take the jump for the full set of info.
