Or – “Two Leagues, Slowly Moving Into Alignment…”   From it’s inception, the latest incarnation of the Justice League has been a troubled one, in both creative and practical terms.  Initially designed to create an all-star JLA, it quickly became overbalanced, with 14 active members (one of whom, Geo-Force, was never seen to join the team and never seen to quit it, and still somehow ranks as an active member.)  Worse still, the team was built around the axis of the Big 3 just as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman came to a point where they could barely speak to…

Or – “Turkey Fact #12: If You Leave A Turkey Out In The Rain, He’ll Drown… Stupid Bird.”   Every year, I tell myself that I’m going to take it easy on Thanksgiving, and every year, I pretty much feel like a python who swallowed a wild boar. Yesterday, I had three slices of pie, an enormous wedge of ham, and half a bag of crackers with cheese spread, and that was the day BEFORE the holiday feasting. In order to help you digest YOUR Thanksgiving dinner, (Disclaimer: May not be valid in all areas!) we’ve got another line-up of…

It worked before, let’s try it again Even though it is a holiday in the United States of America, we at Major Spoilers realize there are a great many of our readers that hail from places not contained within 50 states. Last year, I took down memory lane with a look at one of my favorite comics of all time Asterix and Cleopatra.  It was so well received last year, we’re repeating the stunt again.  Considering there are thirty plus Asterix titles, I think it is safe to say, we won’t be running out of material anytime soon.

One thing that stands out about the first Die Hard movie is how long it took to get to the end of the first act. It wasn’t until John McClane hot footed it across the hallway to the stairwell that the action finally took off. Once those first 30 minutes passed, the film turned into one heck of an action flick. For Boom! Studios’ Die Hard: Year One, issue three marks the beginning of the action.

Robert Kirkman has given readers a peek under the hood of Mark Grayson’s mind when it comes to killing his enemy. It’s an interesting idea that would make the hero’s job a bit easier, but Mark wouldn’t actually kill someone would he?

Of all the characters this site has had a go with over the years, Tom Welling Prime (aka Superboy Prime, aka Superman Prime, aka Whiner Lad) is the one that gets the most attention.  Following the end of Legion of 3 Worlds, Prime found himself back on his home world of Earth-Prime, and quite possibly out of the lives of readers forever. But when has DC ever been able to leave a character alone?  This week, Matthew and Stephen attempt to tackle the self-referential Adventure Comics #4, that doesn’t feature the young Christopher Reeve, but does feature Tom Welling Prime.

Or – “The Cavalcade of Resurrections Continues!  Next Up: Scalphunter!” I’m not one of those people who rail at the disintegration of our society or the loss of the niceties of modern communications, or even the guy who insists on explaining why he doesn’t own a television because it rots our creative souls.  But I am disappointed that this series (whose very premise raises much skepticism for me) has managed to damage my not-so-sensitive sensibilites yet again. DC editorial has announced that Flash: Rebirth (like it’s creative twin ‘Captain America: Rebirth’) will be adding an issue to it’s run in midstream because the creators wanted…
