SDCC’14: Diamond Select Toys teams with Nickelodeon to create Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products

Press Release The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are more popular today than ever before. The newest animated series on Nickelodeon is beloved by new and longtime fans alike, creating a diverse audience hungry for new stories, media and merchandise. With that audience in mind, Nickelodeon has partnered with Diamond Select Toys (DST) to create a similarly diverse array of toys and collectibles for fans of the hit franchise, with the first products scheduled to debut at the 2014 Comic-Con International in San Diego.

TELEVISION: The Legend of Korra creators announce title of Book 3

Nickelodeon will be wrapping of the second season of The Legend of Korra on Friday, but since the network has released the episode online already much has been discussed about the future of the show. Series creators, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, recently discussed the ideas to be shown in Book 3, and the title of the season, which you can read after the jump. VIDEO GAMES: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Launch Trailer

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows launched today on both X-Box 360 and PC. Activision has released a launch trailer celebrating that fact and it looks rather awesome. It comes out for PS3 the 25th of September and we will be bringing you a review sometime soon.

MOVIES: Set Photos for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Michael Bay cast Megan Fox as April O’Neil in the upcoming Turtles reboot, much to the fans’ chagrin. And while we aren’t expecting much to come of this, the first set photo has been released, and honestly, she doesn’t look half bad, but you can take the jump and see for yourself.

TELEVISION: Legend of Korra gets second season

We’ve been waiting for official word, and now Legend of Korra fans can rejoice – Nickelodeon has given a big thumbs up for a second season. But here is the item most didn’t put together until recently – Korra is coming back next year as Season 1, Book 2, so this announcement really means there will be Season 2, Book 1.
