The all CGI Beowulf movie is set to land in theaters November 16, 2007, and IDW Publishing is prepping its adaptation of the ancient story for a weekly release. In anticipation of the theatrical release of the vampire flick 30 Days of Night, IDW has announced it will publish several 30 Days of Night related products. 30 Days of Night Scriptbook-The 8 .5″ by 11″ scriptbook will have a host of features in addition to the screenplay by Steve Niles, Stuart Beattie & Brian Nelson. It will include many stills from movie, storyboards of scenes and pictures from the set, as well as some original character art from 30 Days co-creator Ben Templesmith. IDW Publishing has announced the company will release a six-book series collecting every single Milton Caniff Terry and the Pirates newspaper strips. The Sunday pages will be reproduced in color, along side the daily black-and-white strips.Volume One, to be published in July, contains more than 800 consecutive strips, from the series’ beginning in 1934 through the end of 1936.
