I don’t know how I missed this, but now that I have seen it, I must share.
Browsing: Friday Sing-Along
Okay, so there really isn’t a lot of singing going on in this week’s video, but it features Power Rangers dancing to their theme song, dubstep style, and you know we don’t feature/talk non-stop/throw out there for no reason Power Rangers enough on this site already. If you are interested, you can buy the full version of this video from the iTunes store on October 23, 2012.
Couldn’t pass this one up and wanted to share it before the meme totally died. I prefer Oprah, Gundam Style.
The first track from Ben Folds Five’s new album has a nice beat, and I’m sure you can dance to it, but what really gets our geek attention is the number of Fraggles running around the video.
If everything is better with Batman, does that make the music of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, FloRida, and Carly Ray Jepsen better too?
The epic tale of The Lord of the Rings has been translated into song… and is sung in 99 seconds.
So catchy, it will have you singing these lyrics the next time you hear Carly Rae Jepsen break out in song.
I understand some of you like metal music. You know what would make metal as a music genre even better? Batman. You are welcome.
It’s great when someone takes a popular song, ads their own geeky lyrics and releases it on the world. It’s even better when that someone releases a video to go along with it, and it is totally rad (yeah, I’m old, you wanna make something of it), when that video has production value behind it. You know, there may be something to the video – teenagers cooped up in a private school with select dorms, and very little grownup oversight? Things probably did get crazy.
Because I understand many of you can’t get enough of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, here is Geekapella doing what they do best… geekapelling it… or something…
Though the San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, and the coverage is filling up the site faster than you can read the latest copy of the Walking Dead, we are still sharing our love of all things geek with this week’s Friday Sing-Along. For those at the convention, Kirby Krackle’s I Wanna Live In A World Full of Heroes should be the official theme song of the show.
It’s Friday, which means it is time for another Friday Sing-Along (minus words). With the Fourth of July still fresh in our minds, we were blown away with this light show that incorporates 16 quadcopters that light up and are synchronized in an aerial display that boggles the mind, and makes me want to look around to see who has the pipe.
Last week during Nerdtacular 2012, fans got a chance to see Paul and Storm live. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to join in the festivities, here’s the duo’s latest video that is all about Game of Thrones.
The Intardwebz is exploding with video of people doing their take on Game of Thrones. Some use harps, some voices only… then there is this bit of weirdness performed on squeaky toys.
