All of the titles are compatible with Amazon’s Kindle for PC, Kindle for all Apple devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, Mac, and iPad), Kindle for Android, and Kindle for BlackBerry. Marvel announced its has gone Chrome – taking 1,600 comics online and optimized for the Google Chrome web browser.  The comics you buy via the Marvel Comics App on iTunes will give you access to the comics on Chrome, making it easier for fans to read where and when they want.   This is similar to what ComiXology has done with their web digital comic reader, but specific for Marvel.

Dark Horse Comics made quite the buzz last year when they announced they would sell digital comics cheaper than the competition, by keeping everything in house, and creating individual apps for their titles.  Conan, Sin City, and a few others were launched, but since October, things have been pretty quiet.  Turns out things aren’t going as planned according to a recent post on the Dark Horse blog.
