Diamond Select Toys has announced a new line of Minimates based on the Back to the Future Trilogy. Interestingly, the company has decided the first line of figures will be based on the second movie. Huh? Makes no sense what-so-ever, but then again, it’s been shown again and again that time travel messes with our reality. I told you last week Diamond Select Toys will be releasing toy versions of Marvel’s Zombies series. Major Spoilers has an image of Zombie Spider-Man, but today I found out it won’t be the first figure to hit the streets demanding brains. Zombie Captain America will be released in September ready to use his shield to hack away at his victim’s skulls to get at the pink gooey goodness. Diamond Select Toys and Marvel will be bringing those not so shuffling undead heros to “life” in the form of seven-inch action figures. First up will be undead Spidey complete with removeable leg. Yum! And like other Marvel figures, each Marvel Zombie wil contain a body part so you can build your own Marvel Zombies Silver Surfer. Diamond Select Toys is teaming up with ASP Comics and David Petersen to release a line of collectibles based on the characters from the Mouse Guard comic book series. DST has announced merch with Saxon, Kenzie, Lieam, and Sadie are expected. While no specific products have been announced, Diamond Select Toys says there will be a wide range of items for fans young and old. Today Minimate Multiverse posted two new characters from series 16 of the Art Asylum/Marvel minimate line. Joining the other Avengers will be She-Hulk and Wonderman. She-Hulk fans should be happy as they can create cheesecake pinup cover spoofs of their own.
