Diamond Comic Distributors has sent Major Spoilers the sales data for titles shipping in May of 2008.  The month broke down with Marvel once again taking the top spot with Secret Invasion #2 outselling DC’s first issue of Grant Morrison’s Final Crisis (ouch). Marvel took seven of the top 10 spots, with DC claiming 3 – all Grant Morrison titles, with two Batman RIP issues.  Dark Horse’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer made an appearance at number 15, the only non Marvel or DC title to crack the top 20. Diamond Comic Distributors has sent Major Spoilers the break down of the top 300 comics for the month of April. The month was won by Marvel, who had 39.78% of the Comics, Magazines and Graphic Novels dollar share, with DC Comics and Dark Horse taking the second and third spot respectively. Secret Invasion #1 took the top spot on the list with a Retail Rank of 351.80, which ICv2 has estimated to be 250,000 copies. Marvel’s Dark Tower: The Long Road Home #1 hit the top spot for comics shipping in March 2008. Marvel took the month with the more titles in the Top 10 than the other companies with eight titles in the top spot. Dark Horse came in second with Buffy the Vampire Slayer #12 (in the #6 spot), while DC was only able to break the top 10 with Justice League of America #19 coming in at #7. Diamond Comic Distributors have released its listing of the Top 300 comics sold in June 2007. Marvel sweeps the top five spots, with World War Hulk #1 selling an estimated 178,408 copies (according to ICv2.com), and dominating the Top 25. Surprisingly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer #4 came in at the number 10 spot with an estimated 102,000 copies sold.
