The Walking Dead spin-off series Fear the Walking Dead is not the end of the ever expanding Kirkman universe over at AMC. Here is the first look at Iddo Goldberg (whom readers may know from Peaky Blinders), in the role of the classic DC Comic’s character Red Tornado – a character that has often appeared in a role of mentorship to up-and-coming superheroes (the Young Justice cartoon being his most recent on screen appearance). Warner Bros. previously announced that Goldberg would be playing both Red Tornado and his created Dr. T.O. Morrow, although to date only Red Tornado has been photographed. Supergirl premiers on CBS on October 26th, though Red Tornado will not be appearing in the pilot.

In an interview with Empire Magazine director of the upcoming Spider-Man movie for Sony Pictures Jon Watts revealed the age of this incarnation of Peter Parker. Watts stated, “I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.” Watts also went on to comment on Spidey’s origin, or the lack thereof, “There are only so many times you can kill Uncle Ben.” Given that actor Tom Holland is 19-years-old this announcement from Watts makes a lot of sense.
