The MaltaComics-Expo Group is proud to announce the dates for the 2nd edition of the MaltaComics Pop Culture Expo. This event will kick off Friday 31st of October till Sunday 2nd November 2014. The MaltaComics Pop Culture Expo 2014 will be hosted at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta’s Capital City. The MCC is one of Europe’s largest conference centres, with a reputation as a unique quality venue which makes the Mediterranean Conference Centre the ideal place to host our event.
The MaltaComics Expo is a celebration of our pop culture. A Comic Convention, Statue & Toy Fair as well as a Film Festival all under one roof. On display one can view collectibles from world renowned manufacturers such as Sideshow, WETA, Kotobukiya, Bowen, Hot Toys, Diamond Comics Distributors, Gentle Giant, Marvel, DC, Hasbro, Mattel just to name a few.
Foreign and Local Artists will be showcasing their talent during the event, doing sketches, signing comics as well as displaying their portfolios. A vast range of products will also be available for sale just in time for the Christmas holiday season.
The event will also serve as a platform for local communities to promote their associations/groups while enjoying their hobbies. The MaltaComics Expo will host a massive gaming section including Table Top gaming, RPG’s and Video Gaming.
Talks, Documentaries, Film and Interviews during the event are surely not to be missed and let us not forget the Cosplay Competition, with the possibility of winning great prizes. Freebies and free comics will be given through the event.
