With the growing number of writers opting not to pursue exclusive contracts with publishers, it is interesting to note that Zenescope Entertainment has signed a deal with writer Pat Shand to write exclusively for the company.
Via Zenescope:
Pat Shand has handled a number of recent titles, including the Grimm Fairy Tales 2011 Holiday Edition, and the Grimm Fairy Tales Angel One-Shot. Ralph Tedesco, editor in chief of Zenescope Entertainment, spoke about adding Pat to the writing team: “Pat’s going to be a great addition to the Zenescope writing team. His instincts as a writer continue to impress me as does his ability to take direction while adding his own unique voice to our characters. We’re excited to have him on board.”
Zenescope can also announce that Pat Shand will be the lead writer on the upcoming Robyn Hood series, as well as the bi-monthly Grimm Universe series. Go to Zenescope’s website atwww.zenescope.com and Facebook page www.facebook.com/Zenescope for more information.
