Dark Horse Comics announced the fifth installment of Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher set to arrive in December 2025.
In Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher: The Witcher:
Geralt pursues a proclamation from a king of a bloodthirsty monster plaguing his palace. A hefty reward is offered to cure the beast, but not to kill it, for the king holds a secret—what lies beneath the palace is beyond the spawn of evil. Charlatans and amateurs have tried and failed to answer the region’s plight. Now, Geralt sets out to claim the bounty—by decree of the king or by the pleas of those who wish the creature dead.
The Witcher: The Witcher is written by Sapkowski and Aleksandra Zielinksa, with art by Michael Dowling.
“This story taps into the underlying horror that I feel is so important to The Witcher – the Gothic, body-horror, rising sense of dread and visceral shocks – a world I really enjoy creating visually,” said Dowling.
Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher: The Witcher, a graphic novel adaptation of the original short story The Witcher, is 48 pages in length and arrives on December 17, 2025.
