BUSINESS: Coffin Comics announces Pay Later – Pre-Order System

Press ReleaseBy Press ReleaseFebruary 28, 20252 Mins Read

    PRESS RELEASE

Coffin Comics has never played by the rules, and we’re not about to start now. In an industry where wholesalers have been forced to pay months in advance for books they won’t see for ages, we’re tearing up the old model and rewriting the script.

Starting now, wholesale partners can pre-order Coffin Preview items and pay just one week before shipping—a game-changing shift that puts flexibility and control back where it belongs: in the hands of retailers. No more massive upfront payments, no more cash tied up for months, no more waiting. Just a streamlined, efficient system that ensures retailers get the books they need when they need them—without the financial headache.

This move solidifies Coffin Comics as the first publisher to truly rethink the wholesale process, offering a three-month pre-order window with automated payments processed only a week before shipment. Every pre-order will have a dedicated landing page, making ordering smoother than ever, and retailers will receive pre-scheduled email reminders, so they never miss a solicitation.

This shift couldn’t come at a better time. With the highly anticipated Lady Death: Eternal Sabbath (2 of 2) hitting in May, retailers can immediately take advantage of this new system, ensuring they have everything their customers want—without the burden of paying too far in advance. And that’s just the beginning. A fully dedicated wholesale website is already in development and is set to launch in April 2025 products shipping in July.

To make things even easier, Coffin is rolling out monthly sell sheets to help retailers promote upcoming releases. Printable high-resolution copies are available for in-store use, while digital versions can be downloaded straight from the email and sent to customers.

Coffin Comics has always been about doing things our way—bold, unapologetic, and always with our fans and retailers in mind. The “Pay Later – Pre-Order” system is the latest example of how we continue to break barriers and rethink what’s possible in independent publishing.

Retailers, it’s time to take advantage of the future of wholesale ordering. Visit https://coffincomicsshop.com/pages/pay-later-wholesale-pre-order or contact inquiries@coffincomics.com for more details.
