Marvel Comics announced the Marvel Girl variant cover for the upcoming Phoenix #11 will be done by Marvel’s former Editor-in-Chief, Joe Quesada.
Quesada’s dynamic cover depicts Jean Grey in her beloved Marvel Girl costume, a throwback to simpler times as Jean currently traverses the stars as a cosmic hero. PHOENIX #11 kicks off an all-new arc of writer Stephanie Phillips’ hit run where she’ll be joined by new series artist Roi Mercado. The story reunites Jean with a long-lost loved one in a startling resurrection that throws everything Jean knows about her cosmic power into question!
