Wayne’s Comics Podcast #658: Interview with Austin Hough

Wayne HallBy Wayne HallSeptember 15, 20242 Mins Read

In Episode #658, the creator of The Masters, Austin Hough, returns to discuss his crowdfunding project for the concluding issue #5 for that groundbreaking series, which you can support on Kickstarter until this Tuesday, September 17, at 11:59 pm EDT!

Austin and his team of established and talented creators are breathing new life into many public domain heroes, including the Black Owl and his team as well as the group of villains called The Masters. The comic is described this way: “A classic hero versus villain comic and the conclusion of the art-heist of the century is inspired by some of the most famous artists of the 20th century.” We discuss who the characters are, how this book came to be, and what we can expect from him and the other creators in the months ahead. Don’t miss this fun and engaging conversation with Austin, who is both a comic fan and comic creator!
