Image Comics announced the October 2024 release of I Hate Fairyland #16 from Skottie Young and Brett Bean.
The showdown begins when Gert’s biggest foe returns to Fairyland… and brings with them a legion of enemies ready for battle. Gert must sharpen her ax and prepare for the fight of her life and for the survival of Fairyland itself. But first, she needs to make a quick stop in Kansas to ask for a little help from someone that’s quite familiar with fighting against evil in far away fantasy lands. And she’s not the only one! You should go brush up on your classic fairytales and then jump in the action yourself!
“I Hate Fairyland is my favorite thing to work on, month in month out,” said Young in a press release from Image Comics. “We’re getting close to the 10 year anniversary of Gert being in our lives and I thought it would be a great time to make her come face to face with all the poor souls she’s sent to the afterlife over the last decade.”
