Ghost Machine announced the non-exclusive branding deal with Comics on Coffee to license the creator-owned and operated company, to create a light roast blend of coffee, that you can pre-order now.
“We’ve specifically chosen a shorter roast time so you can taste the complexity of the beans, from its subtle sweetness to hints of a fruity flavor. And of course, the lighter the roast the more caffeine you could get. Because you know…deadlines,” said coffee enthusiast and Ghost Machine artist/writer Francis Manapul, whose The Rocketfellers with Peter J. Tomasi will come out later this year.
Ghost Machine was founded by Brad Anderson, Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Geoff Johns, Rob Leigh, Lamont Magee, Francis Manapul, Brad Meltzer, Ivan Reis, Peter Snejbjerg, Peter J. Tomasi, and Maytal Zchut, and their titles are published through Image Comics.
Comics on Coffee was founded by the husband and wife team of Tony and Tanya Scholl, and is known for serving premium coffee to people who love comics.
“Tony and I are super excited to work with Ghost Machine. These guys are our heroes,” said Tanya Scholl in a press release. “I’ve been studying their art and enjoying their stories for the past 15+ years. They are by far some of the absolute best creators DC and Image has ever had; and to see them continue on with their own titles is so exciting. I’m honored to be the fuel for their next journey!”
