TidalWave Productions is back with a new docu-comic, this time focusing on punk legends, The Misfits.
Witness the rise, fall, and rise again of the original titans of horror punk in “Orbit: The Misfits”. Compiled from decades of rumors overheard in NJ record shops, this graphic biography is a retrospective of one of the hardest core bands ever to emerge from the NYC Punk scene.
“This is the completion of a project I’ve been planning since I was fresh out of high school. All the way back when I was drawing for ‘Rock N’ Roll Comics’ I wanted to do a book. said writer Joe Paradise in a press release. “This script was like a love letter to that period of time between the 80s & 90s when thrash was just becoming a thing and this weird bunch of guys who looked like something out of a long-lost slasher movie with songs that were so primitive.”
The Misfits by writer Joe Paradise and artist Martin Gimenez is available now.
