    Collectible merch arrives for FCBD

    PRESS RELEASE

Diamond Comic Distributors is proud to announce the upcoming release of its 2022 Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) PREVIEWSExclusive (PX) collectible merchandise available during the event on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at participating local comic shops.

Diamond Select Toys headlines this year’s FCBD merchandise selection with two PREVIEWSExclusive Star Wars resin busts. Boba Fett is back in black in the PREVIEWS Exclusive“Nowhere to Hide” Legends in 3D ½-Scale Bust (AUG219268, SRP $199.00). For this comic book event, Nowhere to Hide, the Fett dons all-black armor, and the result is quite possibly the sleekest take on the classic Mandalorian armor to date. This ½-scale, approximately 10-inch bust, features detailed sculpting and paint application. It comes packaged with a numbered certificate of authenticity in a full-color box. This exclusive bust is limited to only 1,000 pieces, and ordering will be limited to one per Diamond retail account. Allocations may occur.

One of the best characters to come from The Mandalorian TV series on Disney+ is a great new villain – Moff Gideon. Wielding the fabled Darksaber, this PREVIEWS Exclusive ⅙ Scale Mini-Bust (SEP218371, SRP $120.00) from Diamond Select Toys measures approximately 6-inches tall and features detailed sculpting and paint applications to recreate actor Giancarlo Esposito. This item is limited to only 3,000 pieces and comes packaged in a full-color box with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity.

The Lethal Protector is back in Funko’s PREVIEWS Exclusive FCBD Pop! vinyl figure (JUL218475, SRP $15.99). Based on the red foil variant cover for Venom: Lethal Protector #1, this exclusive figure captures Venom as he appears in the Lethal Protector series, the first limited series to explore Eddie Brock’s background before he became Venom. Featuring metallic details and a glow-in-the-dark paint job, this exclusive figure emulates the red foil cover and comes packaged in Funko’s signature window box display.

These PREVIEWS Exclusive collectibles will only be available in extremely limited quantities on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from participating Free Comic Book Day stores.

Fans are encouraged to pre-order their own exclusive Free Comic Book Day merchandise at their local comic shop and through PREVIEWSworld PULLBOX. To find a comic shop near you, visit comicshoplocator.com.
