The Shoveler, master of entrenching tools!  The Blue Raja, captain of cutlery!  Mister Furious, emotional muscleman!  The Bowler, always gets the spare!  The Sphinx: veddy mysterious!  The Spleen, who dealt it!  Invisible Boy, who used to work at Good Burger!  These seven heroes, with the help of eccentric Professor Heller, combined their powers to defeat Casanova Frankenstein and accidentally murdered Captain Amazing, but that’s not important right now.  Though their powers aren’t spectacular and their skills are occasionally limited, they’re the heroes we deserve, leading to today’s psychofrakulated query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) has a life-long crush on Janeane Garofalo, but will always choose The Shoveler, who does the right thing with the skills he has, no matter the personal cost, asking: Which of the Mystery Men is, in your eyes, the BEST hero of them all?

Once upon a time, there was a young nerd from the Midwest, who loved Matter-Eater Lad and the McKenzie Brothers... If pop culture were a maze, Matthew would be the Minotaur at its center. Were it a mall, he'd be the Food Court. Were it a parking lot, he’d be the distant Cart Corral where the weird kids gather to smoke, but that’s not important right now... Matthew enjoys body surfing (so long as the bodies are fresh), writing in the third person, and dark-eyed women. Amongst his weaponry are such diverse elements as: Fear! Surprise! Ruthless efficiency! An almost fanatical devotion to pop culture! And a nice red uniform.

Invisible Boy, because despite the apparent uselessness of his power still had the bravery to put himself out there.
