It’s been a while since I’ve bought a new wrestling simulator game, but the first thing I check for (after the presence of dragon/snake tattoos) is the hair texture. The long hair or short hair conundrum is usually answered with a resounding “LONG!”, as I grew up during the ’90s, when everybody grew out their mullets. When it comes the women I admire, I have a preference for longer hair, even though my wife cut hers incredibly short after the Year of Hell, as I don’t get to dictate to others how they handle their appearance. I think my boss has got it entirely right, wearing her hair short, but adding extensions and braids as necessary when she gets tired of it, leading to today’s tonsorial query…
The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) has left this one open as to whether it means your own hair or the hair of those you admire, since my preference for long hair is the same either way, asking: Long Hair or Short Hair?

Right now, the COVID hair is getting long, but I can go either way as long as you wear it well.
Long.
But I will admit that some people are more suited to the short styles.
The older i get the more partial i am to short hair, both for me, and uhhhhhh people who catch my attention.
I’ve generally kept a pompadour, which is a lot of maintenance and product. Especially in these unprecedented times, I’ve found that cropping the sides and back as much as possible takes way less effort than figuring out how long the sides and back have to be to slick it back with pomade and not have anything stick out of fly off in a breeze.
And gimme an Amelie bob, a chelsea feathercut, or a Selina Kyle pixie cut on a lady, and I’ll probably do a very subtle double take that definitely won’t make me look like a gross creeper at all.
