We’ve read Batman Black and White, and we’ve seen Harley Quinn Black White and Red, now Wonder Woman enters the game with Wonder Woman Black and Gold that kicks off in June.
Wonder Woman Black and Gold is a six-issue mini-series that is part of the Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary.
Kicking things off, John Arcudi (B.P.R.D.) and Ryan Sook (Legion of Super-Heroes) re-unite to show us the grace immortality grants a hero. Becky Cloonan (Wonder Woman, Gotham Academy) weaves a spine-tingling tale of Diana’s most precious weapon against the darkness. Then Amy Reeder (Amethyst) takes us back to the Golden Age for a fun romp co-starring Etta Candy. AJ Mendez Brooks (Crazy is my Superpower, Dungeons & Dragons: At the Spine of the World) and Ming Doyle (Constantine: The Hellblazer) travel to Themyscira for a tense family reunion. And finally, Nadia Shammas and Morgan Beem (Swamp Thing: Twin Branches) show us a story of Diana’s past failures come to haunt her.
Wonder Woman Black and Gold #1 arrives on June 22, 2021 (40 pages for $5.99).
